What to Observe on Foreign Service

It has always appeared to me a source of regret that we have not some short printed notes 011 the above subject in each copy of our Indian Medical Regulations. I think they would prove useful, at least to those who are entering on their first campaign. Shortly after the siege of Delhi I made out a short series of queries relating to what had been seen and done professionally by the Surgeons of the " Delhi Force." I had an object in doing this at the time, which, as it happens, no longer exists now. liut I cannot help thinking that the present is a somewhat appropriate time for again considering such an object. Many of our troops are even now on their way to Abyssinia. The forthcoming expedition in that country, whether it leads to much fighting or no, will certainly be fraught with much iuterest to science.
